About the Author
Laila is an English Writing major at Kean University. Her love for writing was sparked by the loneliness that came with being an only child. English class was always an outlet where she’d imagine worlds and let her creativity run wild. After focusing on being a caretaker, she went back to school to earn her college degree, where her love for creative writing reignited. She is currently a junior and hopes to declare a minor in Africana Studies this semeter.
